Commonwealth Baptist Church is conveniently located midway between the Braddock Road and King Street Metro stations on the Blue and Yellow Lines.
We’re a short drive from all parts of Alexandria in the charming neighborhood of Rosemont at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and West Chapman Street, just outside of Old Town.
From I-95/I-495: Take the Telegraph Rd. North/Alexandria exit (number 176 B). From Telegraph Rd, take the exit to VA 236 East(Downtown). Go through one traffic light and make a LEFT at the second traffic light, which is Callahan Rd. Go straight through the next traffic light at King St. and continue on Russell Rd. About seven blocks down, turn RIGHT onto Chapman St.
Commonwealth Baptist will be on your left at the end of the block.
From the King St. METRO: Take the Blue or Yellow line to the King St. Station. Leave the station through the Commonwealth Avenue exit. Once outside, turn to your right and go underneath the railroad trestle. Commonwealth Baptist is about a ten minute walk down Commonwealth Avenue on the left.
