Each February we celebrate our progressive history of supporting women in the pulpit as a church by inviting different female preachers to come and lead us in worship every Sunday. We’ve named this month long celebration in honor of the late Rev. Nancy Elizabeth Foil who was our first female Senior Pastor. This year we have a diverse and exciting line up of women preachers:

February 6th – Erika Kleiner, M.Div, LGBTQ Project Coordinatory and Domestic Violence Program liaison for the Alexandria Dept. of Human Services.

February 13th – Kris Beckert, our very own Minister of Spiritual Formation

February 20th – Chaplain Col. Kristy Moeller, United States Army Reserve

February 27th – Rev. Theresa Thames-Lynch, Minister to Children and Families at Foundry United Methodist Church in Washington, DC
